Very lack-luster and I was very disappointed that someplace like Parkers would serve processed frozen chicken tenders on their plate (especially as this was listed on their breakfast specials menu). The chicken tenders were 3 frozen deep-friend store bought chicken tenders over a single Belgian waffle, with a maple cream drizzled on the empty white of the plate at a poor attempt to dress this plate up. When our food arrived, I was instantly disappointed. This sounded really good, my boyfriend opted for the turkey BLT. The menu is pretty basic breakfast fare, with a few specials, one of which was the chicken and waffles. anyway, The waitress came over, greeted us, took drink order and then disappeared for about 15 minutes leaving us wondering where she went to. seemed like a hazard to less-mobile folks. After noticing, this seems to be the 'normal' to leave these trays around the room. We were greeted instantly and sat in the far off room with wide windows all around, country decor and lots of empty tables, and lots of servers tray stands in the room standing empty and taking up space, I had to move one away from the table so could sit. Arrived around 12:30, place was very busy and parking was tough to find. We drove an hour to come here on a Sunday for brunch. We decided to try this place, after much praise from family. I have lived in the area and have always known about "Parkers Maple Barn" and its famous reputation that folks flock from all over to come and try.
